Young Collectors are excited to welcome James Fordham and Rachel Ackland from Oxford Ceramics Gallery to host the next event at Fen Ditton Gallery.

Oxford Ceramics Gallery was established in 2006 and was born out of the pair’s love of ceramics - James, a true Young Collector, began collecting at the age of 12!

As part of the Fen Ditton Gallery spring programme, Oxford Ceramics Gallery are taking over the space for a month and exhibiting their fascinating ‘Slipware’ exhibition, showing three generations of modern and contemporary artists work with this vibrant English pottery tradition.

This event will take place as part of this exhibition and you are invited to join James and Rachel for a guided tour and discussion on ceramics in art collections today.

With special thanks to independent curator and advisor Amanda Game who has supported this collaboration between Oxford Ceramics Gallery and Fen Ditton Gallery.
